Summer Opportunity!

There is still time to apply to be a summer camp counselor during the month of July for the EDUcamps at BJU. You can make a lasting impact in the lives of teenage students and encourage them in their personal and spiritual growth.  A few positions are still open!

The dates are July 5 – July 30 and the pay is $300.00 per week with free food and lodging. Apply online or email Mr. Matthew Weathers ( with questions.

A few things to help you as you finish out the year. The following events are required for all students. Please feel free to stop by our offices or send an email if you have questions.

Tuesday: Vintage chapel
Wednesday: Society meetings
Thursday: Baccalaureate service in FMA at 7 p.m.

  • Awards ceremony in FMA at 8:30 a.m.
  • Commencement in FMA at 2 p.m.

Congratulations to all of you who are graduating! We know our Shepherd will lead you to the next right step. May you bring Him glory as you trust and obey! For the rest of you, we hope you have a wonderful summer, and we certainly look forward to getting you back in August!

The final period to contest pending disciplinary infractions is today until 2:30pm in the Student Life & Discipleship office located right across from the Welcome Center. After 2:30 today pending infractions will be automatically posted to your student record. You can review your pending infractions on Student Central.

A few items to keep in mind

Can you feel the summer heat?! Not much longer now!

A few items to keep in mind that might apply to you or that you might be interested in!

  1. Submit exam and commencement exemptions ASAP: DS-7 forms available on Avenue.
  2. If you are not up to date on recording your church attendance, please take a moment to do so
  3. Tickets are still available for A Young Lady of Property in Perf Hall Thursday, 7:30–8:45pm.
  4. Regalia distribution for graduates! Thursday and Friday from 1:30 to 5:30pm in FMA.
  5. Student body program this Friday, April 29, at 11am in the FMA.
  6. Cinema department showcase Saturday, April 30, at 7:00pm in Stratton Hall. The films include projects by cinema seniors and faculty.
  7. Monday, May 2, is the last day to appeal disciplinary infractions. Stop by the Student Life & Discipleship office before 2:30pm.
  8. Two other musical opportunities: Lyric Choir concert Thursday, April 28, at 5:00pm in War Memorial Chapel, and the BJU Symphony Orchestra concert Friday, April 29, at 7:00pm in Rodeheaver Auditorium.
