Please make your plans to attend a required 15 minute meeting in Levinson Hall this Thursday or Friday for all undergrad day student women. The residence halls have met to clarify some of the expectations that were highlighted in chapel and the student seminar at the beginning of the semester. I want to make sure that you all get that information as well.
We are offering 10 options and I trust one of them will work into your schedule. If you absolutely cannot make any of them, please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I look forward to seeing you!
Please mark your calendar for one of the following times:
Thursday or Friday (September 14-15)
10:00 a.m. -10:15 a.m.
10:30 a.m. -10:45 a.m.
11:45 a.m. -12:00 p.m.
12:15 p.m. -12:30 p.m.
1:00 p.m. -1:15 p.m.
I hope you read the student handbook and have signed and turned in your covenant to the Student Life and Discipleship office. We gave a day of grace for you to turn it in today without a late penalty. If you have not done so, please plan to complete this task tomorrow, September 12 by 5 p.m. Thanks!
Are you an out-of-state resident? We encourage you to participate in your city, county, state, national, and public-issue elections in November.
Some ballots require that they be marked in the presence of a notary public. You may see someone at the Hub in the Student Center for help with that. Notary services are free of charge for those voting an absentee ballot.
If you need help acquiring an absentee ballot, please go to www.longdistancevoter.org. Those holding a SC driver’s license would typically vote in South Carolina elections.
Before you make airline reservations, please be sure to double-check the dates on which you may leave for Thanksgiving, Christmas, spring break, and following convocation. You will find information on the intranet, under the Life at BJU tab. Please also make sure you communicate these dates to parents and others who may be making reservations for you.
