Instead of society meetings, there is a Student Body chapel this Friday at 11 a.m. in FMA. All undergraduate students are expected to attend. If you need to miss for any reason, please submit a DE-2 form right away for permission to miss. Your regular DS-2 exemption form will not excuse you from this activity.
- Mission displays: Over 125 mission board representatives will be available to discuss opportunities for summer, short-term, or career missions.
- Missions Advance: Special speakers Monday and Thursday at 9 p.m. in Levinson Hall
- Special topics: Students with free hours are invited to hear various mission representatives who have been scheduled to speak in a variety of classes.
Pray concerning what involvement with missions the Lord would have for you. See the Missions Emphasis Week webpage for more information.
The annual Summer Ministry Conference will begin tonight at 6 p.m. and will continue through Wednesday at 5 p.m. Representatives from 34 different camps and other ministries will be available to speak to students interested in a summer ministry. We would like to encourage all students to stop by the Riley Reception Room of the student center between 6 and 9 p.m. tonight, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m on Tuesday, or 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday to speak to these representatives. Information is available on the intranet.
Judging by the number of you who have not checked your campus post office box since the beginning of the semester, the campus post office is beginning to wonder if you know that you have a post office box. Some of you have quite a bit of mail and even packages waiting for you. Please check your box every few days (at least once a week!) and check your BJU e-mail regularly to know if any packages are being held for you. The post office staff will greatly appreciate it. By the way, if you do not know your post office box number or the combination, the staff at the post office will be happy to assist you.
