We’re back!

We have achieved internet connectivity. A quick explanation: a lightning storm fried the college’s modem just before we arrived. The students share the monthly expense of access, but they couldn’t afford to replace the modem. Today Timothy was able to purchase one and have it installed. I learned about it just as my class started at 5.30 pm local time (1.30 EDT), and so I had to wait through 3 hours of (my own) teaching before I could start the uploads. They’re coming over the next few minutes.

My last post was last Friday morning, with Thursday’s journal. It’s now Tuesday night. Many thanks for your patience. I know that for the parents especially it wasn’t easy.
