Required Events – Welcome Week

Please take special note of the following required meetings during Welcome Week.

Check-in Monday Jan. 10
Day students and graduate assistants may check in at the Student Life office or the Welcome Center. (If you have no required on-campus activities on Monday, you may check in on Tuesday before your first required activity up until 5 p.m.) After you have scanned your ID card, complete your registration by accepting your preregistered class schedule or register for classes in StudentCentral prior to the close of registration on Tuesday at 5 p.m.

Presidential Welcome to New Students & Parents
Monday, Jan. 10, 7 p.m.
Levinson Hall
Casual attire is appropriate.
This meeting is not required, but we strongly encourage new students to attend.

Student Life Seminar
Tuesday, Jan. 11, 11:00 a.m.
Levinson Hall
Class attire is appropriate.
This seminar is for any student that did not attend BJU first semester. Dr. Benson will explain the basics of the student experience at BJU, including opportunities for growth, expectations for conduct and resources for success.

Opening Exercises
Tuesday, Jan. 11, 7 p.m.
Founder’s Memorial Amphitorium
Formal attire is appropriate (women: skirt or dress; men: coat or tie).

Chapel
Wednesday, Jan. 12, 11 a.m.
Founder’s Memorial Amphitorium
Class attire is appropriate.

Evangelistic Meeting
Wednesday, Jan. 12, 7 p.m.
Founder’s Memorial Amphitorium
Formal attire is appropriate (women: skirt or dress; men: coat or tie)

Chapel
Thursday, Jan. 13, 11 a.m.
Founder’s Memorial Amphitorium
Class attire is appropriate.

Society Meetings
Friday, Jan. 14, 11 a.m.
Class attire is appropriate.
New students may attend any society of your gender this week and next week before choosing your society on Friday, Jan. 21.
Society meeting locations are posted on the intranet.
