Information for out-of-state residents

VoteAre you an out-of-state resident?  We encourage you to participate in your city, county, state, national, and public-issue elections in November.

Some ballots require that they be marked in the presence of a notary public.  You may see someone at the hub in the student center (opening in early October) for help with that.  Until October, you may stop by the Records Office for help.  Notary services are free of charge for those voting an absentee ballot.

If you need help acquiring an absentee ballot, please go to www.longdistancevoter.org.  Those holding a SC driver’s license would typically vote in South Carolina elections.
